Dutch Oven is going to have a practice on Martin Luther King Day, and we have two upcoming shows: At the lovely Toys Music Center on Ridge Road, Dutch Oven!: Friday January 28th and Saturday February 5th We also received some hate-mail on myspace. Only one was actually hate-mail, the others were from a kid we go to school wit that likes the band. The actual hate-mail we received was from a man named "Jimmy" who is an Oriental Man who thinks he is black. I only have one thing to say to that "Wigga please." Lets read his email shall we?

Last night we played at Toys.  It was pretty fun, although I am partial to Main Street.  Each one has its advantages.  We played first because they told us to.  Dustin was mad, but they did tell us to play first.  We had not practiced so we were kind of out of it.  There were other problems, such as, not being in tune and other stuff that I can't remember.  It was fun though, and that is really all that matters.  BNI hit the stage...wow, and Jeff took off his shirt and it was funny.  I must say they were better than last time I saw them, so that is good.  After BNI a band called "An Army of Blue and Blackers" played, which was 2/3 of Stands for Nothing, who was supposed to play, but things don't always work out.

 I found out last night that we are supposed to play at a C.D. release for Article 11 in Kaplan.  I believe that is on the 18th of September, and that should be cool. 

 Thanks to everyone that came out to see us, and to everyone that came out just to support the scene in general.

Our next gig is September 3rd (Friday) at Cite des Arts.  I am looking forward to that, it should be fun.  Sadly that is the day of TCH's first football game and I was looking forward to that.  Also that means some of the people that usually frequent our gigs won't make it.

I just returned from bowling with Trevor and Lauren.  Fun time...  My summer becomes less boring right when school is starting.  Band practice Thursay, school Friday and then gig on Saturday.  I gave Trevor the tape of when we were young...I think I prefer Death Cab for Cutie to Postal Service.  I like Jack Johnson, its very mellow.

School is coming up. Yippee! By the way I am kidding, school is ...ughh. I could bet that 1/2 the kids at my school have dead end jobs and kids out of wed lock. Don't forget the 5 foot long criminal record. Band practice when Billly gets back. I'm kind of working on a song. I had had writers block, but now writing is starting to come back. Trevor said he has been writing a song. I hope its good, but then again I can only hope (he he he). Funny thing happened, I found the tape of Trevor and I playing "Brainstew" in the woods and it appears that we are five. Its so funny. Trevor acted then just like he does now. Will is on vacation in Gulf Shores, but he said when he gets back, band practice time bitch! ARGHH, I am in all the Honors classes one can be in as a sophomore, and that sucks really bad.

The lame jokes I will have to endure.  Wow, I was just thinking of my jokes, but there are some really not funny people in Honors classes.

Its been a while since I've updated. I think that Gordon is gone and I don't know where he went.

Let me just say "Billy is so hot... (cue the vomit sound FX).  I don't appreciate that you have become so Narcissistic and said that the band sucks. :-(  Don't forget that we have gigs and when you don't know the song it makes us hate you... But whenever you "buy the fastest car Detroit makes" and get in a wreck causing you to lose your arms we will see whose "pouring sugar on who." (That whole sentence was a reference to Def Leppard.)

Trevor, sweet Trevor..you didn't become conceited...
